Despite being a flop, former player Memphis Depay is till repping Man Utd
The number 7 shirt at Manchester United is legendary one and has been worn by some of the finest players to have ever donned the jersey. The likes of Cantona, Beckham and Cristiano Ronaldo have all added glace to the iconic number.
However off late, there have been a few dismal performers to have worn the jersey including Angel di Maria and the most recent being Memphis Depay. However, if one of the pictures on Twitter are considered, he still has Manchester United close to his heart.
Memphis is seen wearing a Manchester United locket in one of the photographs of the winger. This shows he still has a soft corner for Manchester United in his heart and is still representing the iconic club.
Though his time with Manchester United was a torrid one, this nice gesture by the Dutch player is surely going to win him a few fans at Old Trafford.
